Hello, world
I bought patrickbisch.com so I’d have one place for things I’d otherwise lose in a chat history.
I’m a software engineer. I use Claude Code a lot, and I keep running into small lessons worth writing down: a prompt that finally worked, a mistake I made twice, a shortcut that turned out not to be one. I also build things at home with my kids, and those projects teach me more than I expected.
So there will be two kinds of posts. Some are practical notes about working with AI tools. The others are stories from building stuff with family.
A few ground rules for myself. Posts stay short. I say what didn’t work, not just what did. And I write like I talk.
The site is simple on purpose. It’s a static site built with Astro, written in markdown, and hosted on Cloudflare. No CMS, no tracking cookies, nothing fancy.
The first real post is about a project I built with one of my kids. More soon.
