About
I'm Patrick, a software engineer. Most of my day is spent working with Claude Code. I like figuring out where it helps, where it gets in the way, and how to show other people the good parts.
Outside of work I build things at home. They're small projects, usually with my kids watching or helping. Those projects teach me more than I expect, so they end up here.
This site is where I write it all down. I'm writing for engineers, parents, and tinkerers. I keep posts short, I say what didn't work, and I try to write the way I talk.
